Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. What you are purchasing

Overclaud is a configuration package for Claude Code, the CLI tool by Anthropic. When you purchase Overclaud, you receive a licence key that installs skills, commands, agents, rules, hooks, and a self-improving harness into your local ~/.claude directory. Overclaud is not a standalone application, SaaS product, or hosted service. It is a set of configuration files that enhance an existing tool.

2. Requirements

Overclaud requires an active Claude Pro or Claude Max subscription from Anthropic. We do not provide the AI model, API access, or compute. Anthropic provides the AI; Overclaud provides the configuration layer.

3. Licence

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use Overclaud on one device: the first device that activates your licence key. To use Overclaud on another machine, buy an additional licence, or email support@overclaud.dev and we will move your licence to a new device. You may not share your licence key, redistribute the configuration files, or resell access.

Team licences: a Team purchase provides one licence key per seat. Each key is for a single named individual, activates on one device, and is not transferable between people. You may not allocate more users than the number of seats purchased.

Earlier purchases: licences bought before 17 June 2026 keep the multi-device use they were sold with.

4. Pricing and payment

Overclaud is a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions, recurring fees, or usage charges. The price at the time of purchase is the total cost. Payment is processed securely through Stripe; we never see or store your card details. All prices are in USD and exclusive of any local taxes that may apply.

5. Lifetime updates

Your licence includes all future updates to the Overclaud configuration at no additional cost. Updates are delivered automatically once a day by the built-in updater, which verifies each update and rolls it back if the install checks fail. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product, not the lifetime of the purchaser.

6. Refund policy

Overclaud is digital content that is delivered to you immediately: your licence key and full access are issued the moment your payment completes. By purchasing, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you therefore lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel for digital content under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. For this reason, purchases are generally non-refundable.

That said, we want you treated fairly. If your licence key genuinely does not work and we cannot resolve it, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. Nothing in this policy affects your non-excludable rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the product is faulty or not as described.

Services (White-Glove setup & Corporate workshops): where your purchase includes a live 1:1 or group session, that session may be rescheduled with reasonable notice (at least 24 hours) but is non-refundable once delivered. If we are unable to deliver a booked session, you will receive a full refund of the service.

7. What Overclaud is not

8. Compatibility

Overclaud is designed to work with the current version of Claude Code at the time of each update. If Anthropic makes breaking changes to Claude Code, we will push compatibility updates. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility if Anthropic fundamentally changes or discontinues Claude Code.

9. Support

Support is available via email at support@overclaud.dev. Support covers installation issues, licence-key problems, and configuration questions. We do not provide support for Anthropic's Claude Code itself, your IDE, or your operating system.

10. Limitation of liability

Overclaud is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or interruption of development workflows. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence; nothing here removes those rights.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Overclaud after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page.

13. Contact

Overclaud is operated by Taner Hassan (United Kingdom). For questions about these terms, email support@overclaud.dev.
